5 working days:

  1. After being welcomed by the project leaders and the French school director, the student delegations of the 6 schools gave presentations on the "History of regional costumes". We were invited to the City Hall of Bordeaux. We visited the city.
  2. The discovery of the New Aquitaine region continued. From the city to the ocean: we visited the town of Talmont, the city of Royan and took a boat trip to visit the UNESCO world-listed monument Cordouan Lighthouse.
  3. From the ocean to the vineyard: we saw the winemaking process and vineyard at Château Terrasson and the Unesco world-listed town of Saint-Emilion.
  4. From the vineyard to Perigord-Noir: we visited the Gardens of Marqueyssac, the Castle of Beynac.
  5. At the French school there was a fashion show and regional costumes. We participated in a sewing workshop led by the school's fashion teacher. We prepared a model - a mannequin with regional accessories. The teachers met to sum up the exchange and to prepare for the next one in Romania and to establish the way of conducting the project in the following months. We prepared lunch consisting of regional French dishes and dishes from our regions. Certificates for the mobility participants were handed out.

Every day we discovered New Aquitaine: locally, in the city of Bordeaux and regionally. We learned about the history, monuments and tradition of the region. We tried regional dishes. In a cyclical evaluation after the exchange the teachers and students once again expressed their very good opinion about the hosts and the preparation of the exchange programme. The students once again lived with the families of high school students and in the school dormitory.
